Barry's wife has an amazing opportunity to practice her educated profession, teaching, in another state. This is Barry's line of work as well (can't you tell by his lovely riding attire in inserted picture) and there is no doubt they will make a big impact on the children they teach. Unfortunately this means he won't be able to continue his position which is being scouted to be filled as soon as possible. AmeriCorps is like the PeaceCorps but members serve in the Untied States and work to eliminate poverty. The program pays a small living allowance (a little over $700 a month) and provided health insurance and other benefits. The work the new member will do involves the continuation of the PARK program in two communities in Parkersburg. Feel free to drop Barry an email (barrybackus@yahoo.com) and ask him about the experience.
If the job looks like something you would be interested in interviewing for, sign up on the AmeriCorps website for the AmeriCorps program and let us know you have completed the application.
